Enhance Your Leadership and Your Technical Knowledge

This year, you’ll benefit from three full days of technical sessions! Make sure you’re staying through the end to maximize your COMVEC™ experience. The Executive Council, comprised of 60+ engineering leaders, has developed a program that is relevant, valuable and sustainable for the future and will enable commercial vehicle professionals to update their knowledge and enhance their business leadership skills.

The critical topics of the day will be covered, including:

  • Battery electric vehicles
  • Fuel cells
  • Automated vehicles
  • Emission regulations and mandates
  • Design updates for internal combustion engines

This year’s event will feature three executive panel tracks, 15+ technical expert panels and NEW for 2024, technical paper discussions.

Executive Panels

“Hot-topic” tracks are focused on strategic and business of technology-related issues, with the goal to have expert panelists provide their perspective and engage with attendees during Q&A.

Expert Panel Discussions

More in-depth sessions on specific topics and allow the technical experts from various perspective to address critical technology issues in an interactive forum followed by Q&A. These sessions are geared toward individuals working in the technology area as well as individuals wanting to learn more.

Paper-Based Sessions

Experts have written papers that have been peer-reviewed for SAE journal and are presenting the results of their work. This is an opportunity to hear a brief dissertation of this work and ask questions.

The L. Ray Buckendale Tech Talk

Provides procedures and data useful in formulating solutions and is directed primarily by an industry leader to the needs of young engineers and students with emphasis on practical aspects of the topic. 

Expert-led Training Courses

Register for one of 3 training courses led by experts with extensive industry experience. These full-day courses will take place on Thursday and Friday.
