Dr. Ismail Dagli

Head of the Autonomous Mobility and Smart Mobility Business Area, Continental

After studying computer science and earning his doctorate on the subject of artificial intelligence in autonomous driving, Ismail Dagli began his professional career in 2005 as a development engineer for driver assistance and active safety systems.

In 2008, he moved to Bosch Automotive Steering GmbH (formerly ZF Lenksysteme) as Head of Software Projects. Next came the role as Vice President Engineering and Project Management at Bosch in the USA.

From 2015 to 2017, Dagli managed the integration of the Bosch Automotive Steering business unit into Robert Bosch GmbH as a project leader, and in 2017, he assumed responsibility as Senior Vice President of the Passenger Car Steering Business Unit.

Dagli held the role of Senior Vice President Research and Development ADAS at Continental from 2020 onwards.

With the organizational realignment of Continental in 2022, he took over the position as head of the Smart Mobility business area. As from October 2023 his new position is head of the Autonomous Mobility and Commercial Vehicles Business Area.

Dagli is married and has three children. He is an avid sportsman and interested in technology and film.
